A WOMAN was badly injured last night after falling from a window above a restaurant.
The 21-year-old, who has not been named, is believed to have fallen from a flat above Pizza Express on the corner of George Lane and South Woodford High Road just after 8pm.
She was treated at the scene for leg and ankle injuries and then rushed to Whipps Cross Hospital.
Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police said she fell two storeys.
One witness on the ground told the Guardian they thought she had been pushed, but this has not been confirmed.
A police spokeswoman said Redbridge CID were "investigating the circumstances of the incident."
The 21-year-old fell at roughly the same time as another woman who fell from a balcony over in Walthamstow.
