This morning Mrs Patricia Lawlor, aged 52, from Fiddlers Hamlet appeared before Magistrates in Harlow charged with causing death by dangerous driving and while unfit through drink.
No plea was entered during the hearing and the case was adjourned for Mrs Lawlor to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on September 7.
Mrs Patricia Eustace, from Maple Springs, Waltham Abbey was killed on November 6 2008 when she stepped outside for a cigarette outside the Merry Fiddlers Pub in Coopersale.
A Vauxhall Cavalier left the road and hit the building, Mrs Eustace was declared dead at the scene.
