COMMUTERS who had their travel affected by the tube strike can apply for a “goodwill” payment voucher from Transport for London.
Passengers who were holding a seven-day or longer period travelcard at the time of the strike, which began on June 10, can apply for a refund by visiting https://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/tickets/refunds/industrialaction/default.aspx
The strike by the Rail Maritime and Transport (RMT) union over pay and conditions closed large parts of the tube network, bringing travel misery to millions.
RMT leader Bob Crow has threatened a second tube strike.
Mayor of London Boris Johnson has called the RMT's actions “unnecessary” and “capricious.”
