A EVENING of gospel music is to be held tonight (Thursday) at Waltham Forest College.
The college's Christian Union will put on its annual End of Year concert from 5pm, including performances from Sir George Monoux and Leyton sixth form colleges.
It will also feature a support performance from gospel recording artist Governor B.
The event is open to students who attend the colleges involved and entrance is free.
A spokeswoman for Waltham Forest College said: “The concert will showcase and celebrate the enormous pool of talent of our students.
“This event provides the platform by which to celebrate diversity, community cohesion and to build effective working relationships within local education sector.
“In a time when the issue of postcode wars among our young people is of serious concern, this event seeks to bring the communities together.”
