BEN & JERRY’S have announced the Saturday headliners for their fifth Sundae On The Common.
With Sunday’s tickets fast selling out, there's still a chance to get a scoop of the action and enjoy the coolest festival around.
Super Furry Animals and Teenage Fanclub will be headlining on Saturday, July 25, with Welsh electro-rock wizardry and Scottish summer-filled melodies. Supporting these top bands will be I am Kloot, King Creosote, Marina and the Diamonds, Tommy Reilly and Telegraphs.
Cian Ciaran of Super Furry Animals said: "We’re looking forward to playing sweet songs from our new album Dark Days/Light Years to the masses at Ben and Jerry’s festival Sundae on The Common!”
The fantastic fun-filled family fete-style festival on Clapham Common will be moovellous with dollops of free Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, great music, social activism and lots of fairground style attractions.
Whilst enjoying tub thumping moosic from these fantastic bands, guests will be able to tuck into the sweet taste of Ben & Jerry’s newest dairyingly delicious Fairtrade flavour, Chocolate Macadamia, along with 18 more flavours past, present and future and not forgetting Ben & Jerry’s tasty ‘Wich!’ Also, Ben & Jerry’s Sundae on the Common will continue to be a Climate Neutral festival.
This year Ben & Jerry’s will be supporting a biomass programme in Karnataka, India. The project run by My Climate prevents the uncontrolled burning of agricultural waste turning it into heat and energy instead.
