AN AWARD-WINNING architect will open an exhibition of students' work at the University of East London (UEL) next Wednesday (24).
David Adjaye, who designed the Whitechapel Idea Store library building and has an international reputation, will open UEL's Archiecture End of Year Show at the university's Docklands campus.
The show will feature the work of more than 400 students on UEL undergraduate and postgraduate architecture programmes.
Andrew Higgott, UEL Architecture acting subject director, said: “This is a real celebration of the years’ work from talented architecture students who have worked very hard on their creations.
“We have an amazing display of different projects influenced by themes across the world, it’s a real eye opener and shows the high level of creativity and diversity we have at UEL.”
The show will open to the public from June 25. For more information visit www.uel.ac.uk/ava
