AN air ambulance landed on Epping High Street this morning (June 22) after a pensioner was hit by a van.
The elderly man was flown to the Royal London hospital with head injuries following the incident outside Tesco.
Hertfordshire Air Ambulance was called to the scene and landed on the pavement after police cleared the road.
A spokeswoman for Essex Ambulance said: "He was an elderly man who had been in collision with a car. We had lots of calls about it at just after 11am this morning."
