BRITAIN'S Got Talent singer Megan McKenna is coming home to her Woodford Green roots this weekend when she performs at Woodford County High School's annual summer fair.
The event, which is this Sunday (June 28), will see the young singer, who got through to the semi-finals of the hit TV show as one half of singing duo Harmony, sing two songs.
Megan is performing after the Guardian stepped in to help the school with performers for the fair.
The day will also feature a host of other activities, plus arts and crafts stalls, food including a BBQ and a beer and wine tent.
Betina Duffett, the publicity and sponsorship secretary of he Parents and Friends of Woodford County High School group, which is organising the fair, said: "It is our biggest event of the year and we look forward to seeing families young and old spending the day with us.
"Our fund raising efforts are going to fund new chairs in the school hall which will benefit all students at the school."
Entry is £1 for adults and 50p for children and concessions.
The fair runs from 11am till 4pm.
The school, which recently received a glowing Ofsted report, celebrates its 90th birthday in September.
