A NEW Children's Centre for parents and youngsters in the borough has opened.
The centre, at the site of Redbridge Primary School in College Gardens, aims to provide support and care for young families in the area.
It is one of a number of the new facilities being developed in the borough as part of the Government's Every Child Matters programme.
The centres are open to all parents with children under five years old who live in the area and have Children's Centre Family Club membership.
Dignitaries such as Redbridge mayor Cllr Thomas Chan attended the opening ceremony last Thursday, which saw a performance from Redbridge Primary School's choir.
