THE annual Chingford Village Festival takes place this Saturday, with a wide variety of events from noon throughout the day.
The Green, in Station Road, will see performances by the Epping Forest Pipe Band and various jazz acts, and displays by the Peter May Sports Centre Fitness teams.
The Vestry Hall at St Peter's and St Paul's Church, will host exhibitions from the Chingford Photographic Society, musical acts, lunches, coffees and cakes, while visitors will be able to visit the church itself to see performances by acts including Chingford Ladies Choir.
Children will be able to enjoy puppet shows at Mornington Hall, while Chingford Assembly Hall will feature musical performances throughout the day, culminating in headliners, Queen tribute band The Bohemians.
The day is free, but tickets for the Bohemians will be £8, available on the door or by calling 8559 4500.
