FLOWER fans of all ages visited St John The Baptist Church in Church Lane, Loughton last week for a four day floral extravaganza.
The festival was a mix of pretty blooms, light classical music courtesy of the Karrilon trio and culminated in a craft fair and pig roast.
There was also a childrens competition, where youngsters got to try their hand at arranging.
The under seven age category was won by Miss Lily Barker, with sister Maisie coming in a close second.
The over seven title was won by Dani Francois, with Francesca Pinagli in second place.
The theme of the festival was "for all the Saints" and even St Jude the patron saint of Disaster making an appearance on a pile of rubbish outside.
Spokeswoman and organiser Mrs Annette Chesher said: "It was succesful, not only financially but in bringing so many people in from the community. It was a real community effort and a happy atmosphere."
