A RADIO DJ has paid a special visit to a Highams Park school.
DJ Shak, of Club Asia, visited Joseph Clarke School for the Visually Impaired, in Vincent Road, after 15-year-old student Naqi Shah wrote to him to tell him about himself and the school.
Headteacher Peter Falconbridge said: “Shak was so impressed with the letter he wrote back to Naqi in Braille – he had it translated.
“Shak read Naqi's letter out on the air and wanted to come and meet Naqi in school.”
DJ Shak visited the school on June 24 to chat with Naqi and six other pupils during an English lesson.
