A group of charity-minded ladies from Theydon Bois have raised over £2,000 after taking part in the gruelling 10k St Clare's Midnight walk.
The group, called the "Theydon Girls" took part in the sponosored walk around cycle and footpaths in Harlow to help the Hastingwood based Hospice raise its target of £150,000.
They donned matching rabbit ears to join 1500 other walkers on Saturday June 20, and managed to shave 30 minutes off last years time by finishing in just under two hours.
Jacq Dodman from the Theydon Girls said: "we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported and sponsored us enabling us to exceed our sponsorship target of £2,000 for this amazing charity serving the people of West Essex, including Theydon Bois."
