HUNDREDS of families enjoyed a gorgeous day in the sun at a secondary school's summer fair.
The annual event, at Woodford County High School in Woodford Green High Road, saw a host of stalls, activities and performances throughout the day.
Among those taking to the stage was former Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist Megan McKenna, who was on the popular TV talent show as one half of singing group Harmony.
Megan played the fair after the Guardian stepped in to help secure her performance at the event.
Other acts who played included troupes from the John Hutson School of Dancing and the Vestry School of Dancing in London.
There were also displays from the number three group of the Army Cadets Force, a hula hoop workshop and music from local DJ David Matthew.
Forest School pupil Holly Arnott, age 11, was one of those who attended.
She said: "It was a lovely day and a great surprise to see Megan perform, I was very excited.
"Even though I go to Forest School I always like to come and support Woodford County High with my mum."
Betina Duffett, publicity and sponsorship secretary of the Parents and Friends of Woodford County Association - the group which organised the event - said: "It was nice to see families young and old spending the day with us.
"Our fund raising efforts will fund new chairs in the school hall, which will benefit all the students. We look forward to welcoming everybody back again for our next event – our Indoor Boot Sale at the end of October."
The fair was held on Sunday (June 28).
