A MAN has been ordered to pay more than £300 for breaching a noise abatement notice.
David Bicker of Clifton Road, Loughton caused a nuisance to his neighbours by playing amplified music too loud.
A noise abatement notice was served by Epping Forest District Council from April 2009, which required that the volume of music and amplified sound be maintained at a level which would not cause a nuisance to neighbours.
But just a week after receiving the notice Bicker breeched the conditions and council officers received complaints and witnessed noise coming from the property which was too loud.
He pleaded guilty to the offence at Harlow Magistrates Court on June 23 and was ordered to pay a £150 fine and £155.81 towards the Council's prosecution costs.
