RESIDENTS are being asked to help shape the future of dental services by taking part in a borough-wide survey commissioned by NHS Redbridge (NHSR).
The survey will allow NHSR to find out more about the levels of dental disease in the borough, and the group are keen to know when you last went to a dentist, what your experiences were at the visit and what you feel about your oral health.
The survey is open to three types of patient: adults aged 18 to 65, adults with learning disabilities who attend day centres and children aged three to four years.
The survey has two parts, a free dental check up and then a questionnaire and will take around an hour to complete, with the assistance of a dentist.
This can take place at a health centre or at your home, at a time which is convenient to you.
So, if you think local dental services can be improved this is your chance to help make a difference.
The survey is being carried out by the Community Dental Service over the summer months and they will report their findings to the PCT later in the year.
