STUDENTS went dough-eyed for a delicious bagel breakfast at King Solomon High School while raising money for World Jewish Relief (WJR).
Fifty year seven students tucked into the 'big bagel breakfast', organised by the school's Informal Jewish Education Dept, as part of a London-wide initiative to raise money and awareness for the charity.
Bagels and fillings were generously donated by Golan bakery in Gants Hill, and students contributed £3 for their breakfast, which will be donated to WJR.
As part of the breakfast, students created their own ideal bagel fillings which were judged by the school's catering manager Angela Brandon, who selected the indulgent winning filling of chocolate krispies and chocolate spread.
The winning flavour designers were Max Wynne, Jade Levison, Josh Roukin, Oliver Cole and Talya Leventhal.
This unique bagel was then on sale in the school's dining room, with proceeds from each sticky treat sold going to WJR.
Jewish Education teacher Fiona Elias said: "Everyone had a great time and many thanks to all staff and students who took part, particularly Ryan Alicoon, James Bongart, Jonny Delin and Jonathan Mervish in year 8, who helped out on the day and dressed up in the hugely popular furry bagel costume to promote the event."
