WOODFORD Green MP Iain Duncan Smith has announced his plans to improve family life in Britain.
The conservative MP for Chigford and Woodford Green has vowed to give tax breaks to married couples and make legal changes to make it harder for couples to divorce.
Mr Duncan Smith is also calling for state-funded 'family relationship centres' offering guidance to help couples stay together.
The reforms would also demand an end to the benefit rules which Conservatives say penalise couples by paying them less than two single people.
The proposals, which will be published by Mr Duncan Smith's think tank, the Centre for Social Justice, could be adopted by a future Tory government after Conservative leader David Cameron said marriages should be supported to heal Britian's "broken society."
