Nazeing residents of all ages are being invited on a series of country walks to discover the hidden beauty spots in their area.
The Parish Council have been given a cash grant from the county council to produce a series of helpful leaflets to discover local footpaths.
Keen local walkers Graham Smith and David Pracy are looking for others to help test the suggested paths.
The first walk will be on Sunday July 19, starting from the Crown car park, Old Nazeing Road at 2pm.
It will go alongside the River Lea and the neighbouring lakes. All welcome, including dogs under control.
