AN eclectic mix of samba, acoustic and rock local and national performers will be appearing at this year's Walthamstow Festival on Saturday.
The day kicks of with First Orchestra - 30 people from the Youth Bands of the Borough – and finishes with Son of Dave, award nominated remixer of Memphis and Missippi blues and dance music, who will headline.
There will also be street theatre, comedy, martial arts displays and children's rides.
The day finishes with the The McGuffin Film Society's seventh annual open air cinema event, which is showing the classic Hollywood rock and roll comedy ‘The Girl Can't Help It’ on the Big Screen in the town square.
The festival is on Saturday, July 11 from 12noon to 10.30pm in Walthamstow town centre.
