The 17-year-old driver who was left with serious head injuries after a crash in Honey Lane on Tuesday evening (July 7) remains in a stable condition in Hospital today.
The girl, who has not been named by police, was thrown clear of her Mini Cooper and was struck by an oncoming car.
She was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, where her condition is described as "stable" today (Thursday July 9).
Police are still asking for witnesses to the crash, which took place shortly after 9pm.
