ILFORD Cineworld is set for a scramble as they prepare for the arrival of a Bollywood star.

Youth sensation Imram Khan will meet throngs of his adoring fans at the cinema in Clements Road between 11am and 1pm today.

The American-born big screen idol , who stormed to fame with his debut movie Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, and later with his deadly persona in Kidnap, will be promoting his upcoming film Luck - co-starring Sanjay Dutt and Shruti Kamal Haasan - which will be showing in Ilford in August.

General manager of Cineworld Juestina Nicholson said: "He will be inside the cinema talking to fans and if he gets the chance he will sign some autographs.

"People don't need to buy tickets, it's free, so we are expecting it to be quite busy.

"He's chosen to come here because we're one of the biggest Bollywood sites around."

Mr Khan, nephew of actor Aamir Khan and producer-director Mansoor Khan, will then fly to Mumbai to continue his tour.
