A 33-year-old man has suffered burns to his face and chest following an accident with a bonfire.
An ambulance was called to an address shortly before 4pm on Sunday (July 12) to reports that a man was suffering from burns to his face, neck, chest and both arms. He is from Clavehambury Road in Waltham Abbey.
After giving the man morphine, an ambulance took him to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow but he has since been transferred to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford.
An update on the man's condition is expected later today.
