A crash between a Land Rover and a second vehicle led to traffic grinding to a halt on Epping New Road on Friday (July 10) for two hours.
Police were called shortly after 5pm following reports that the road was blocked after a crash.
The incident happened between the Wakes Arms and Robin Hood roundabouts.
It involved a Land Rover towing a trailer and a vehicle that failed to stop. It is believed to have caused the Land Rover to swerve into a ditch.
One person was slightly injured.
The road was closed for about two hours while the Land Rover and a mini digger, which had fallen from the trailer, were recovered.
