ANIMAL lovers got the chance to learn all about Degus by visiting the Chingford-branch of a national pet retailer.
Pets at Home held an open day about the fury creatures after inquisitive customers wanted to know more about them.
Degus originally come for Chile, where they live in large family groups between the west coast and the Andes mountains.
The store's expert Blane Stoker was on hand to answer lots of questions about the habitat and nature of Degus during the open days on Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12.
There was also a seminar and a quiz with prizes up for grabs.
The sessions happened at the Pets at Home branch in Corktree Retail Park in Hall Lane.
