RESIDENTS are invited to slip into a smooth summer vibe with Lloyd Park’s first ever jazz picnic.
The Friends of Lloyd Park have teamed up with E17 Jazz to treat residents to a mix of swinging jazz standards and upbeat summer grooves.
Barbeque food will be available or visitors can bring a blanket and a hamper.
Adam Taylor, who has organised the Jazz Picnic for Friends of Lloyd Park said: “Walthamstow is really lucky to have so many great jazz musicians so we thought it made sense to invite them to our great park and have a chilled out afternoon.
“And as it’s on Aveling Fields people still have space to play and spread out if they want to while the music is playing. What better way to spend a lazy, hazy, social, summer afternoon.”
It is on Saturday, August 8, from 2pm to 5pm, in Aveling Fields, Lloyd Park, Walthamstow.
