EPPING Forest College played host to guests from across the east of England when it set up an educational masterclass event.
More than 220 professionals from Thurrock, Basildon, Dunstable and Huntingdonshire visited the college, in Borders Lane, Loughton, to take part in a series of workshops.
Key-note speakers on the day were educational consultants Beej Kaczmarczyk and Stella Dadzie, who spoke on the future of teaching.
Guests worked in 20 mixed teams with the outcome of their the sessions instantly recorded behind the scenes by a group of student administrators who presented every delegate with a 60-page booklet detailing all the findings as they left at the end of the day.
College event coordinator and quality manager Alfred Cardona said: “The range of facilities within our new building made Epping Forest College the obvious venue for this event.
“We were trying out a totally new and innovative approach to quality improvement across all aspects of our respective colleges and everyone agreed the event really worked.”
