STUDENTS at Walthamstow spent the day learning about the importance of identity and tolerance.
Walthamstow School for Girls pupils examined what makes them and their classmates who they are.
The event at the school in Brettenham Road was designed to promote community cohesion and teach students to develop mutual understanding.
During the day, pupils also tasted food from different cultures and created a recipe book.
