A POP star dubbed a "love rat" by the national tabloids was out enjoying himself in Walthamstow less than a month after dumping his pregnant fiance.

Singer Antony Costa of boy band Blue spent Saturday night celebrating a friend's birthday and enjoying the races at Walthamstow Stadium, Chingford Road.

He dumped seven-months pregnant Lucy Bolster, who already has a two-year-old son, Joe, from a previous relationship, last month over the phone.

The distraught 23-year-old beautician is back with her dad Bob, head teacher of Chase Lane Junior School, York Road, at their family home in Enfield.

She was expected to wed the singer at Blenheim Palace, the £100 million Oxfordshire estate of the 11th Duke of Marlborough, in the summer.

The singer has since been seen out in various nightclubs and celebrity hangouts. The Sunday People newspaper this week romantically linked him with porn star Linsey Dawn McKenzie.

He put his very public troubles behind him on Saturday to enjoy a night's racing at the stadium, which is becoming a major draw for stars about town in London.

He was photographed when he took part in the awards ceremony for race 11 of the final day of the William Hill Week of Racing. The winning dog was Soviet Swinger.

Blue won a Brit award this year for Best Pop Act. They have also recently been named the face of Pepsi in a deal said to be worth £50 million.
