YOUNG dancers from across the district joined together to pay their own special tribute to the King of Pop at their annual show.

Members of the Dance Factory put on a performance of Michael Jackson's Thriller in front of a packed audience at Epping Hall, St John's Road, Epping, with money collected going to St Clare Hospice.

The Dance Factory meet every Monday at Queens Hall Community Centre, in North Weald, but members from branches in Highams Park, Chingford and Loughton all took part in the show, with 56 pupils joining in.

Principal Amanda Pullen said: “The show went really well and all the children's hard work paid off, they all told me they enjoyed it and are looking forward to the next show now.

“I haven't heard how much we raised yet but the shaker can was very heavy so it seems people gave generously.”
