Pupils at the Leverton Junior School are enjoying their new play equipment after years of fundraising.
The brand new adventure playground at the school in Honey Lane includes swings, ladders and slides -partly designed by the students themselves.
The school had held a number of events to pay for the playground, including the annual ‘Stars in their Eyes’ competition, which has contributed over £5,000.
Headteacher Louise Martin said “We are always looking at ways to improve the playground environment and provide activities that will help the children to live active lives. All the children are really enjoying the new adventure playground.”
