A GRADUATION ceremony has been held for students of the Loriamah Grace Childcare agency.
Taught by Walthamstow-based trainer Grace Chambers, the students completed a one-year course and celebrated with a special event at the Leyton Youth Centre, in Crawley Road.
The graduates were presented with certificates by deputy mayor of Waltham Forest Cllr Peter Woollcott, followed by a congratulatory lunch.
Speaking at the ceremony, Cllr Woollcott said: “It's been a great privilege to be asked to come along.
“I admire all of you as you've spent a great deal of time on the course as well as bringing up your families.”
Graduate Judith Tuitt added: “On behalf of my class, I want to say it's been a great opportunity working with Grace.
“She's been kind, considerate and encouraged us so much.”
