IT was a record year for Haven House’s London Marathon runners who raised a staggering £42,533 for the hospice.
Members of the 14 strong team, who all managed to complete the 26 miles, gathered at the charity's Woodford Green High Road headquarters to mark their fantastic achievements.
Each runner received a small momento and a framed certificate to recognize their success.
Penny Sturdy, community fundraiser at Haven House, said: “What a fantastic achievement!
"All our runners worked so hard to achieve this marvelous outcome. We really appreciate their dedication and support for the children and families that use our services and we hope very much that they may even consider running for us again!”
