A Chingford school raised £2,200 at its summer fair.
Crowds enjoyed an exciting display by Chingford Tora Karate Club and live music from pupils past and present when they visited Chase Lane School's summer fair.
There was also the opportunity for youngsters to clamber on board a fire engine and the community police were on hand to talk to residents about concerns in their area on Saturday, July 11.
Michelle Taylor, Friends of Chase Lane secretary, said: “We're very grateful to everybody who helped make it such a great family day with even bigger crowds than usual.”
