AN INDEPENDENT charity has made a generous £600 donation to a popular children's centre.
Hopscotch Children's Trust, Chigwell Road, Woodford Bridge, made the award to ELHAP – which provides adventure playgrounds for adults, children and young people with disabilities.
Hopscotch spokeswoman Hannah Hatt said: “We made the donation through our hard work in the shop. We have one full time staff member plus volunteers.
“We do a lot of work with young people in the local area and that's who all the money we raise goes to help.”
ELHAP, based in Roding Lane North, Woodford Bridge, offers much needed adventure play opportunities to over 5,500 children and young people each year from North East London and Essex.
