A COMMUNITY fun day was held to promote awareness of disabled youths and to raise money for a local school and charity.
The Community Awareness Festival was held yesterday (Saturday) at Oak View School, in Whitehills Road, Loughton.
Children enjoyed getting their face painted and taking part in games and activities and there was an impressive line-up of dance and music performances for all the family.
Money raised from the event will be divided between Oak View School, which teaches children with special needs, and local charity the Dream Factory, which organises events for youngsters with life-threatening conditions or severe disabilities.
