THE average asking price for houses in Redbridge rose again last month.
According to a new report out today, prices have increased by 1.3 per cent to £268,715 over the past four weeks.
However Redbridge still lags behind the majority of other London boroughs, and overall prices are still down 6.7 per cent on this time last year.
In comparison, in neighbouring Waltham Forest, prices rose by two per cent last month, with the average home there costing over £10,000 more than in Redbridge.
The figures, from a house price monitoring website, also suggest that there has been an overall rise in prices of 0.4 per cent in the capital over the last 12 months.
