TUBE passengers will be able to speak to police officers about crime on the eastern part of the central line at a meeting on Wednesday (22).
Officers from the Central Line East British Transport Police (BTP) team, which covers all stations between Epping and Leytonstone will be available to talk to commuters.
BTP Sergeant John Sanderson said: “While the tube has a very low crime rate we know that people have different experiences and view points about crime and safety in their area and we would like to hear from them.
“As neighbourhood officers we want to ensure that our policing priorities on the tube are in line with what our community actually wants from us and the best way we can do this is to speak with those people and hear their issues and concerns.”
The meeting will take place from 7pm to 9pm at Kirkdale House, 7 Kirkdale Road, Leytonstone.
