CHARITY walkers set off from Epping tube station this morning to begin an 81 mile trek across the county.
The 50 participants are raising money for Age Concern Essex by walking to Harwich Light House during the next week.
Allo Allo actress Vicki Michelle and Epping's town Mayor Janet Hedges cut the ribbon to set the walkers off this morning.
Tony Southam, Chief Executive Officer of Age Concern Essex said: “This is an excellent opportunity for us to raise vital funds to help us continue and expand our services for older people across Essex.”
