A MAN was shot at as he waited for his daughter to finish nursery school for the day.
He had been waiting on the pavement in Woodbury Road, Walthamstow, at around 5.30pm on Tuesday, January 6, when a Proton car coloured either white, silver or grey pulled up beside him.
The father then saw a man in the passenger seat lean across the driver and point a small gun, possibly an air pistol, at him.
He managed to run behind a wall as the passenger took a shot, which struck the wall. The car then sped off.
The gunman is described as a white man, aged around 20. He had black stubble and a goatee beard. The driver was also white, around 20.
The first four digits of the vehicle's registration were J637.
Witnesses should call Leyton police on 8529 8666.
