A family-friendly list of free activities will be taking place in the Lee Valley regional park over the next few weeks.
Starting next Tuesday (July 28) with "wild about Wetlands" day in Waltham Abbey Gardens from 10am – 3.30pm.
Children are invited to come along on a dragonfly hunt, bird spotting, pond dipping, natural arts and craft activities and take part in a treasure trail.
Visitors can also meet the new park mascots, the LeeV's, who will make their debut.
Drama-lovers can come and watch a special performance of Medusa and The Gorgons at Gunpowder Park on Sunday July 26 from 1pm.
Families can meet artists from the Tiger Monkey art group and learn to make a fire sculpture and a Medusa Mask.
On Sunday August 2, walkers can enjoy the stunning scenery with a guided nature walk from 10:30am.
The walk leaves from Fishers Green Car Park, River Lee Country Park, Waltham Abbey.
All activities are free.
