THIEVES smashed the window of a van before stealing a Tom Tom sat nav.
The white Ford transit van was targeted in Powell Road, Buckhurst Hill, at 12.30pm on Monday.
A police spokeswoman said: “We are looking for anyone who may have seen or heard anything to contact us. We remind people to remove all valuable items from display when leaving their vehicle for any length of time.
”Anyone with any information should contact Pc Robert Amey at Loughton police station on 0300 333 4444 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
