Lee Valley Regional Park's Birdwatching huts have been damaged three times in a week as vandals went on a wrecking spree.
The park's six "bird hides" give nature fans the chance to watch birds up close without being spotted.
ON June 30 Park Rangers found benches had been torn out and snapped and windows smashed in their brand new hut - which was partly funded through taxpayers money.
This is not the first time vandals have targeted the huts, in August last year, one was burnt to the ground and not replaced due to a lack of funding.
Other parts of the park have also come under attack.
Area Manager for Lee Valley Regional Park Jon Carney said: "We have to think very carefully about whether it is economical to replace the hides and about the type of structures we install.
He urged park users to report anyone they saw damaging the park equipment.
"“We need the help of our visitors to protect this valuable and well used asset from further unwanted attention. We are calling for all our users to report any act of vandalism and anti-social behaviour."
Parkguard are also patrolling the Regional Park and can attend to incidents, they can be contacted on 07974 696931.
To report any damage to bird hides or any other issues within the Regional Park call the Lee Valley Regional Park information service 9am-5pm on 08456 770600.
