A MOTORCYCLIST who died after colliding with a car has been formally named.
Paul Capetanakis, 28, of High Road, Loughton was killed when his white Yamaha motorcycle was involved in a collision with a black Mercedes C180 yesterday evening around 10.35pm.
A cross bearing flowers and tributes from Mr Capetanakis's family has been placed at the crash scene, in Loughton High Road, between Manor Road, and Avenue Gate.
The card on the cross reads: “Taken so suddenly from us. We will miss you terribly. Rest well my child. All my love.”
A 24-year-old man, from Woodford Green, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released on police bail until September 23.
