FUTURE Olympic horse riders showed off their skills at a 2012 Games open day.
The three day celebration which took place at hundreds of locations across the UK was held to encourage members of the public to try a new activity and be inspired by London 2012.
Woodredon Equestrian Centre, which has been chosen as a training ground for the 2012 Olympic Games, opened its doors to members of the public to watch show jumping.
Paula Hare from the centre on Farm Lane, Epping said: “Show jumping is an Olympic discipline so it was a great way for local people to see up and coming talented young riders, many of whom go on to ride professionally and who we may one day see riding for Team GB in future Olympics. It was a great fun day out for all the family and will hopefully inspire new riders into the sport.”
