THREE men have been charged in connection with the smash and grab of a cash machine in Temple Fortune at the weekend.
Police arrested two men immediately after the raid at the Barclays bank in Finchley Road at about 3am on Saturday morning.
A third man was arrested in Walthamstow after being followed by police.
Jason Perry, 37, of Clover Close, Leytonstone, is charged with burglary and driving a motor vehicle dangerously.
Darren Rutter, 31, of High Meadow, Chigwell, is charged with burglary, and 39-year-old Paul Thompson, of Uxbridge Road, Shepherds Bush has been charged with burglary, driving a motor vehicle dangerously and driving while disqualified.
All three are to appear today at Hendon Magistrates Court.
