A WORRIED family has offered a £1,000 reward for the safe return of their missing dog.
Tallulah, a one year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier bitch, escaped through a hole in the backgarden fence at her home in Marsdon Road, Clayhall on Saturday July 18.
Her owners, the Gale family, searched the surrounding streets for hours in a vain attempt to track down the fugitive pooch - but found no sign of her.
John Gale said he decided to offer the huge reward after seeing how devastated his wife, 21 year-old daughter and 16 year-old son were after Tallulah's disappearance.
He said: "It's hit my wife and kids really hard.
"We were all really fond of Tallulah, so we are obviously desperate to get her back.
"We'd only had her for a bit more than a year, but she was very much like one of the family.
"She was such a friendly dog, so she must have gone up to someone after she escaped. I hope someone will come forward with some information."
