OVERGROUND trains in Waltham Forest will be severely affected when workers go on a two-day strike over pay.
The industrial action starts at midnight tonight and runs until midnight on Friday, but National Express East Anglia, which runs the Chingford to Liverpool Street line, said early morning services on Saturday could also be affected.
The strike will affect many lines in and out of London and Essex, including trains for Stansted Airport, Southend, Norwich and Colchester.
Members of the Rail Maritime and Transport union and Aslef are all taking industrial action together, with three further 48 hour strikes scheduled to take place in August.
