STUDENTS enjoyed a visit to the Channel 4 studios where their short films were screened.
A group of Waltham Forest College students on the Vision and Focus 12 course produced three-minute documentaries which were short-listed in the ESSA Manifesto for Change Competition.
The students did not win, but were runners up and enjoyed seeing their films shown at the awards event on July 10.
Student Luke Harding-Park said: “It was a great evening and I was really thrilled to be invited to Channel 4.”
Lecturer Kevin Brooks said: “t was fantastic to see our student's films recognised as some the best in the country.”
The students who were nominated for awards were Shaniece Allen, Luke Harding Park and Kasim Sinclair produced 'Future of Education' and Tom Bffoni, Charlie LeRendu, Giles Chavanakunakorn and Kamron Khan produced 'Future Schools'.
