PARKOUR, or free running as it is more commonly known, is an energetic way to keep the kids occupied this summer.
So if your youngsters are already driving you mad during the summer holidays, then pack them off to the summer school, run by Epping Forest Arts, the council's arts department.
Not only will the lessons help them burn off all that excess energy, it also means a chance to work with Urban Freeflow, who are internationally renowned as the leading company for parkour and free-running training.
No experience is necessary, just lots of energy and enthusiasm.
Everyone taking part in the summer school should wear track-bottoms, trainers and bring plenty of water.
The course runs from Monday 3 August until Friday 7 August at Waltham Abbey Sports Centre, Broomstickhall Road, Waltham Abbey, Essex EN9 1LF from 2 -4pm and costs £25 (£13 concessions).
It is suitable for ages 12 years and above.
Please arrive 30 minutes early on Monday to allow for registration.
